My name is Ezra Bailey, and I’m a wildlife and astrophotographer.
I currently run a business making premium costuming parts, movie costume replicas, and film props.
I am a birder, software engineer, out-and-proud butch lesbian, and love playing music and spending time in nature.
This blog came from a photography hobby, which I had gotten into after seeing an amazing Bald Eagle one day land right next to me while eating lunch in a car. I started looking up more, hoping to glimpse something quite as amazing, and to be ready with something better than an old phone camera the next time it did.
I began posting some of my favorite photos on social media, along with detailed stories on the experience. Rather than just an image, I wanted to share an interaction I had with nature. Friends and even strangers started telling me that my stories and photos would routinely make their day!
Since I started, I also expanded into film photography and have begun astrophotography. I am blessed with the support of amazing friends who have been encouraging me the entire way!
